Regina Website - Regina Houses
Regina is the financial, business and commercial hub of its province. The first pioneers settled on the land in 1880. Since then, local citizens have changed the boring flat land into a tree-filled town with beautiful public parks and well-kept roads. There is a beautiful territory called Wascana Centre. The manmade Wascana Lake is the main attraction there. Regina residents were surely the main ones that did the most to make their town beautiful over the years.
Even their main government legislative property is located in the city park along with the Saskatchewan Center, Saskatchewan Museum and the Saskatchewan Science Center. Saskatchewan is a wonderful place to live in Canada. It is also culturally diverse and an excellent place to raise children.
Regina Canada is the capital of the Saskatchewan province and boasts a population of around 200,000. It is considered to be one of the most wonderful places to live in Canada. Regina is also home of the Royal Canadian Mountain Police, The Roughriders or the RCMP. They are a historically significant establishment in the area. The Market Square is another very well known area. This is the hotspot and consists of an approximate 25 block radius. This area boasts the best shopping, cultural attractions, service companies, food and entertainment. Cornwall Centre is also located downtown. This is the largest shopping mall in the area.
The rest of the popular shopping is located in the suburban areas of Victoria Square, Southland and Northgate. Many people say that Regina is like a manmade oasis in the middle of the flat, drab and boring Canadian prairie.
Regina wouldn't be able to have any of the beautiful qualities it boasts if there was not manmade interference. This is a very interesting fact considering that manmade intervention often has the worst outcomes. The entire province boasts almost 100,000 citizens. The capital has almost 200,000 within its borders alone. This says a lot about the attractiveness and value of the city.
The rest of the population is evenly dispersed in the other prairie towns. These include Red Deer, Edmonton, Letbridge, Calgary, Saskatoon, and Lloydminster. These other towns attract a reasonable amount of attention, but Regina is by far the most popular. In addition it's the most green and lush prairie town in the province. The sheer beauty alone helps it to stand out from the crowd.
